BTTB High School National Award
We are excited to announce the creation of a fund to assist high school powerlifting athletes participate in
high school level competition!
Any high school level student will be eligible to receive this award as long as they are registered for a High School National event and complete the mandatory application form. This award is designed to help with the additional travel costs that competing at a national level requires.
Our 2027 award goal is $2500 which we will distribute evenly to 10 award winners. If we are blessed enough to raise over our goal, we will distribute 75% of the additional funds to the 10 winners evenly. The remaining 25% will be saved as a starting balance for the 2028 reward.

Garage Gym Competition
The funniest way to help fund this amazing cause is to participate in the free Garage Gym Competition Oct. 3-11. Complete a one rep max squat, bench and deadlift and post it to social media with the hashtag #26FALLGCC and complete the online form below to enter! We receive a penny per pound lifted by all participants!
Who is Eligible for the Award?
There are three requirements to receive one of these awards.
Be a high school student, freshman to senior. Homeschool students are eligible.
Must compete in a high school national competition. Current eligible events include USAPowerlifting High School Nations (March 19-21), Powerlifting America High School & Collegiate Nations (April 15-19), USPC High School Nations (February 27) and NASA High School Nations (April 10-11).
You must also complete the award application. Applications are open November 27 - January 17.
What’s Required on the Application?
The application is split into three sections.
Demographic Information: This includes name, age, grade, current high school, gender and contact information
Powerlifting Information: This will include national meet you are attending, powerlifting history, current meet totals, national goals, and detailed information about your training experience and expected cost to go to nationals.
Scholarship Questions: This will include a few open ended questions about topics including powerlifting, your goals, future powerlifting plans, strength community, or ways you give back to the sport.

The link to the application will be posted below on Friday, November 27, 2026 and will be available until January 17, 2027.
Application must be completed to be considered eligible.
How will the Winner be Selected?
Winners will be selected and graded based on the following:
• Passion & love for the sport
• Following detail and providing detail
• Grade and cost to compete
• Other
How will the Winner be Notified?
Finalists and winners will be contacted by the information given on the demographic page of the application. Prior to the award being sent, BTTB has the right to confirm high school status as well as confirm they’re on the roster of the current national meet. BTTB has all intention to have award sent to winner prior to meet but holds the right to delay delivery of award until after athlete participates at their national meet.
